Embeds or Shoppable Galleries are the foundation for Visual Commerce. Once you’ve decided what pieces of content (images, videos, carousels) you want to show in your embed on your website, go to Content – Distribution.
This will show you a list of all your Embeds. You can see the total number of embeds in the top left. Searching for an Embed can be done by using the dedicated field in the top right, next to the “New Embed” button.
To create a new Embed follow these steps:
- Click the “New Embed” button in the top right.
- In the new screen add an Embed title, a Call To Action text and select the board whose pieces of content you want to show.
- Click Create Embed.
- You will now see a preview of your embed. Select how you want your embed to show your pieces of content by selecting a Layout Style. These update in realtime, but you do have to click on the “Update Embed” for your changes to take effect.
NOTE:
Only the pieces of content you’ve marked to be visible will show in your embed, NOT your entire board. Visibility refers to whether or not a piece of content is shown in your Embeds/Shoppable Galleries. You make a piece of content visible from the Boards section.
