Adding the Embed code on your website requires access to the website Admin section or help from a developer.
To add your Embed/Shoppable Gallery on your website you need to follow these steps:
- Go to the Content – Distribution section.
- Next, click on the Embed you want to add to your website.
- In this new screen look at the bottom for the text “Embed code”. You can select the line of code (that starts with “<script class=”productlead_embed”) and copy it or click the “Copy to clipboard text”.
- In your website Admin you need to navigate to an area where you can insert code. Add it there and save your changes.
Congratulations! You’ve inserted your first Embed. Any changes you make to the Embed itself will take place on page refresh, there is no need to make changes to the Embed code once you’ve added it on your website.
The great thing about the code is that it’s being loaded asynchronous. That means it won’t increase your website load time. At the same time, the code is platform independent, so it doesn’t matter if you’re using Shopify, Magento, VTEX, WordPress or a custom solution – the code will show up.
