Content Approval is a new type of Creator Campaign. Its purpose is to help you see creator content, before it’s posted online. This gives you a higher degree of control of what is being produced, combined with a greater peace of mind that what is posted is aligned with your brand.
Benefits: #
Content Approval helps you maintain consistency in the messaging and aesthetic of the content generated by creators, within campaigns.
It also helps to ensure that the content is compliant with any legal or regulatory guidelines that you may need to adhere to.
At the same time, Content Approval provides an opportunity for influencers to learn and improve their skills in content creation and tailor their content to the needs of the brand.
How to use: #
First, create a new campaign and select Content Approval as its type.
Second, create your campaign as you normally would. There is a new calendar selector when creating a new brief. You need to select the duration for the content approval. This is how long the creators have to submit content, get feedback and provide improved versions.
Third, in the campaign dashboard there is a Content Approval tab. Click it and view all the pieces of content that have been submitted, alongside their status (Pending, Rejected, Approved).
Fourth, click on any piece of content and view the image/video and associated caption. Choose to approve it (green button) as is or reject it (red button) and provide a reason. Make sure to give detailed feedback on what should be improved, if the content is rejected.
Fifth, continue the process until you have all the approved pieces of content you need. Once all the content is approved, the influencer can then post the content on social media as it was attached in the Content Approval tab.
You’re done!
Use cases: #
- If you are a beauty brand, you ask for an unboxing and quick tips carousel of a new face cream. You want to make sure the benefits of the product are well understood and explained, without any exaggerations or comparisons to other brands, for example.
- If you are a fashion brand, you may request a product review video from a creator of the latest collection. After the creator creates the video and submits it for approval, you can ensure that the video aligns with your aesthetic and messaging, before it’s posted on social media.
- If you are a food brand, you request recipe videos from a creator and want to ensure that the ingredients and preparation methods align with their brand guidelines. Content Approval makes this process simple and fast.
Content Approval is a powerful new functionality for you to ensure consistency and compliance in creator content that is associated with your brand. You can now create a new type of campaign and get started providing feedback right away!
