XpertBeauty is a fast-growing chain of professional cosmetics concept stores selling internationally. They manage a portfolio of over 100 brands.

The Challenge

The brand wanted to listen to their Gen Z customer base, which prompted the team to integrate UGC in their sales funnels.

The Solution

Creators were a key part of the solution. We wanted to use them at scale and reuse the content in social channels, as well as ad campaigns.

The way the team handled influencers was similar to brands dipping their toes in the idea of using UGC in their marketing strategy. They manually searched for influencers, organized them into spreadsheets and kept tabs on them using data they received via exports or screenshots. It was a lot to handle and multiple people had to collaborate to pull of a successful campaign. The reports were another story, as they had to be succinct, but insightful enough to make sense to senior management.

All this manual work was limiting the quantity and quality of content they could generate on their own. Enter Flaminjoy. The all-in-one UGC platform allows for easy filtering of influencers by Location, Niche, Age and Gender. Each creator has their dedicated profile with posts, engagement info, follower growth. This makes it easy for any brand to understand and plan who they want to work with – and make decisions based on data, not intuition.

Now XpertBeauty automates the relationships with >500 creators and sources content 15x faster. The data they gather has a tremendous impact in their data based growth strategy and in the results they generate.

They’re working with monthly campaigns, with an average of 70 influencers that apply. Out of those, about 20 are selected and around 100 pieces of content are generated on a constant basis. The launch time has decreased to mere hours (instead of days). And content appears inside the platform in mere days instead of weeks.

User Generated Content is not just created to be shared on social media. Product Pins are added on top, activating the content, an turning it into Shoppable Galleries. These are added on the homepage and key website pages (listing, product) to create interactive experiences for shoppers.

Since XpertBeauty has implemented Shoppable Galleries on the website, they’ve seen the following results:
