The Overlay is the area that appears over a piece of content in an Embed when you hover your mouse over it. It contains 3 elements:
- The color
- The icon
- The text
The color of the Overlay is purple by default. The icon of the Overlay shows the Instagram logo by default. These can both be changed to fit your brand/needs, but it’s not available from this interface. Reach out to our Customer Success team on instructions.
The text of the Overlay, the Call to action, is “SHOP IT” by default. It can be changed by editing the Call to action area in the right side menu, underneath Embed title. Once you’re happy with your new text, click on the “Update Embed” button to save the changes.
