Embeds or Shoppable Galleries allow you to showcase your products like never before. Use your own content or User Generated Content to create galleries of images. Then, Pin associated products. Add the Embeds to your homepage, category and product pages. Users will find your products more trustworthy and your website will see an uplift in conversions.
The Embed Analytics provides data about:
- Embeds – This shows you data about the Embeds (Shoppable Galleries).
- Medias – This contains information about the pieces of content within those Embeds (Shoppable Galleries).
- Pins – This focuses on analytics for the pins added on top of the pieces of content, contained in Embeds (Shoppable Galleries).
Let’s have a look at each of them.
The Embeds section:
- Load, View & Fail events – Graphical comparison between Loaded Embeds (the number of times users loaded a page carrying embeds), Viewed Embeds (the number of times users viewed the embeds in said loaded pages), and Failed Embeds (the number of times these embeds failed to load).
- Load events – Graphical representation of the number of times users loaded a page carrying embeds corresponding to selected tags.
- View events – Graphical representation of viewed embeds corresponding to selected tags.
- Fail events – Graphical representation of the number of embeds that failed to load.
- Load more events – Graphical representation of the number of times users expanded embeds to view more content.
- Top 5 pages with most views on embeds – The first 5 embed pages that scored the highest number of views.
The Embeds screen also allows you to filter data using the “Filters” button at the top right. You can filter by:
- Date range – Select any frame of time you want.
- Granularity – Days or 24 hours.
Always click the “Apply filters” to save the changes you’ve made.
The Medias section:
- View & click events – Graphical comparison between Viewed Medias (the number of times users viewed medias without engaging in any interactions) and Clicked Medias (the number of times users clicked media in embeds in order to interact with content).
- View events – Graphical representation of the number of viewed medias corresponding to selected tags.
- Click events – Graphical representation of the number of clicked medias corresponding to selected tags.
- Top 5 most viewed medias – The first 5 medias that scored the highest number of views.
- Top 5 most clicked medias – The first 5 medias that scored the highest number of clicks.
- Top 5 pages with most viewed medias – The top 5 pages that registered the highest number of media views.
- Top 5 pages with most clicked medias – The top 5 pages that registered the highest number of media clicks.
The Pins section:
- View & Click events – Graphical comparison between Viewed Pins (the number of times users viewed Pins without engaging in any interactions) and Clicked Pins (the number of times users clicked on the Pins).
- View events – Graphical representation of the number of viewed Pins corresponding to selected tags.
- Click events – Graphical representation of the number of clicked Pins corresponding to selected tags.
- View events by segment – Repartition of view events, based on where they took place – Modal Media (the Pin shown on the content piece) or Modal Sidebar (the right side of the content piece).
- Click events by segment – Repartition of click events, based on where they took place – Modal Media (the Pin shown on the content piece) or Modal Sidebar (the right side of the content piece).
- Top 5 most targeted pages – The top 5 pages that registered the most clicks (to the destination URL) on Pins.
- Top 5 pages with most viewed pins – The top 5 pages that registered the most Pin views.
